Brake caliper is leaking...

So I know the problem, my passenger side rear brake caliper is leaking badly(even though I just changed it a bit ago) but don't know how to fix it. I checked the tightness of all the bolts and they are tight, but not overly tight. Any help would be much appreciated. Pictures included.

Check the line. My braided lines leaked a bunch. Just went back to stock rubber and just lenghtend my steel lines.

I'm pretty sure it's the copper washers on the banjo bolt. I'm going to get some tomorrow and replace them.

Copper washers is my first guess, generally if it was a crimp in the line that failed, the fluid would not be on the caliper, it sprays out ot the tire.

1. never re-use them
2. even if the opening is off by 1/100 of an inch, it will leak. get the thickest, washer that is tightly fitting on the banjo bolt.

My lines never leaked from the crimp the leaked from the line it self. Try to get own washers if possible. Jobber washers never seem to crush proper and never seem to seal.

If I went into an autoparts store and told them that i needed the copper washers for the rear brake aliper, think they would have it? Or should I get just any copper washer that fits?

It's tough to say. They should have them. A dealership should to.

Got the new washers on, bled the brakes and everything is back to normal. A bit better then before, actually.
