Blue Ridge Park Way Vintage Jeep Ride/Fall 2014

This goes through the area where I live so u may go through Burnsville which is about 15 or 20 minutes from spruce pine ( I live in Burnsville )

That sounds VERY cool! They'll be coming right by here! I pass a Parkway entrance every day going to work.

I may do this, not too far for me. I'd love to see all the old ones. The '82 CJ8 I bought in Dec seems up for the Challenge. The rest of the herd is pretty needy in one way or anthor. Lol

All right you young whipper snapper. I may opt for motel rooms along the way. My old "jeep"LOL can't take tents any more...

This is a little far but sounds awsome! Maybe I can talk a friend into trailering down for part of it. He just restored a Willys pickup so he might be game...

I really wanted to do this, but my jeep rear axle is still out right now, and even then I don't think its up to the trip. I have a small hole in my radiator. :(

I like the idea of:
The rule for our trips is "no jeep left behind".
But I can see it turning into a game leapfrog with everyone coaxing their old Jeeps to the next stop for more repairs.

Still sounds like fun.

Wish I could get mine there. I'd have to yabadabadoo it. She's in rebuild mode.

Any more information about the Blue Ridge Jeep event?
I need to find out the start location, and each overnight stop.
We need to make motel reservations, hopefully close to the campground.

Well I booked a room at Quality Inn, Waynesboro for the 18th.
Guess I play the rest by the seat of my pants...
