I got a 95yj with a 4cy in it auto tran is it a ax5 i think the ax15 is 5 speed.

The AX5 is the 5spd manual transmission behind the 2.5L, the AX15 is the 5spd manual transmission behind the 4.0L and 4.2L engines.

Not sure on the model number of the 2.5L 3spd auto.

You have a 30RH.

The 3 speed auto six cylinder YJs got the 32RH, which is a modern version of the old TF999. So, I would assume that the 30RH is just a newer version of the TF904/909, but I don't know that for sure.
