I didnt wave at the cherokees , as you said, just didnt recognize them. Just anouther big ole station wagon with 4 x 4. Now I see anouther wrangler ,or something that looks like a jeep. I always wave.

Need I remind you that if it wasn't the Cherokee Jeep would have been long gone 15 years ago.
Just saying. Give credit where credit is due. Cherokees are not compasses or patriots btw.

i know what you mean, but to most cherokee drivers that keep em stock, they see them as "just another car" i cant stand a stock cherokee

its true, cherokee saved jeeps butt. they are great trucks too. i loved every one i ever owned

Wife watch'n from the check out.:shades: He just knows he's going to be asked :xwho his new friend is.

Looks are not everything. It's the capability. It makes me angry every time I see one only because it resembles a real Jeep when it is far from.

I do not see any resemblence in a cherokee,to that of a jeep. When ever some one tells me they have a jeep, I picture something that resembles this.

He's just jealous;
Look at the benifts of a gr cherokee for a minute,
Quad coil suspension, rides nice easy to lift, preforms awesome offroad.
Sure you can get that on a tj or jk but what if your not happy with how your short wheelbase climbs? Your answer expensive stretch kit...look at the grand don't really need to stretch that wheelbase.
Not happy with your 4banger or crappy 3.8l v6? Your answer v8 swap...but wait aminute grands can be had with v8's...
See the point?

Doesn't the Unlimited use the same frame as the Cherokee? I think my '06 LJ has the same wheelbase. We are related brother.

We have a Cherokee that runs with us all the time. I've been towed out by him once. On one occasion, a liberty was in our group. That was down in KY at Hills N Hollars. I miss that place.

I think the wheelbase is the same but the gr. Cherokee/cherokee are unibodys. I wasn't trying to start anything just making some valid points to bolster Dustin G's points...

Lol Eric, its an age old argument, that is shared by club brothers.

Now I have seen a liberty with a solid axle swap in Moab, on the behind the rock trail, a +5 trail. Looked impressive.

Yeah! What he said! I have all those things. V8, longer wheelbase and it is waaaaaaaaaaaay more comfortable than any wrangler I have ever been in. They always make me feel like dice in a Yahtzee cup.

I saw the guys at kevinsoffroad building a solid front liberty a few years ago. Looked beefy and comfy.

What's wrong with Yahtzee? You have something against dice? Are you diceist? Don't want to sit in the back of the wrangler with the other dice? You think your die is too good for my Yahtzee cup? Lol.
