Anyone have the Bestop Sunrider?

I have the Bestop Sunrider for my 93 YJ. I was just wondering if anyone else out there that has this top has the problem of it fitting loose at the rear corners. I can't drive with all the windows out or the wind rips the corner peices to the main top out. I had my windshield frame adjusted to the correct position according to the instructions and it fit loose. I've tried different positions of the windsheild frame but if I go too far forward, my full hard doors won't fit into frame for the soft top. I just got another new top through my insurance company since mine was stolen and haven't put it on yet so I'm hoping this one will fit a little better.[addsig]

The more moveing parts you have the bigger the chance of problems. I will be glad to get my bikini top back on! Tug[addsig]

sorry to hear about your problems with the new roof. i was thinking about the sunrider but shared tug's thoughts about too many parts. hard to fit it all just right - partiularily with jeeps as they have substantial tub flex.

have you contacted best top yet?[addsig]

I cut some hard rubber shims (about 1/8th" thick out of stair treads) to shove into groove to hold the corners. I used pieces of twigs and vines until people would see them and pull them out. If they notice the rubber, they tend to leave it alone. :p [addsig]

I have the sunrider on my Jeep and I love it. I have not taken out all the windows however since when I got it was close to winter and those last couple days I just flipped the front back. I did notice though that the back corners do not like to stay in. I figured it was just another querk to owning a Jeep... I would recommend to anyone getting one- I love mine and will probably buy another one if the time comes again. [addsig]
