I want to add 2" coil spacers tp the front fo my 87 XJ do I need to need any special parts to add with this lift. some places said I need drive line replacement parts.

Well that depends what's on there now.

How much lift do you currently have? Give us a list of mods to your jeep and we would be better able to answer your question.

If the jeep is stock, at the most you might want longer shocks - but that isn't even a must.

RE: Re: RE: Pull pull pull SNAP!

Totally off topic, but how can CJ'sXJ have joined on the 25th, if this is Christmas Eve?

My jeep has stock suspension just wanted to bring the front end up a little to level it out. Will I top out on my shocks running through dips in the road?

Somethin' to do with the server upgrade - check the date and time on the forum index page  I pm'd Terry about it, so it should be straightened out before long. Hey, time is all relative, anyway 8)

You can add the spacers, but seems to me it'll be really nose high if the rear is still stock. Consider a pair of stock coil isolators (.75") for another leveling option, they're stackable with the stock isolators and it's safe to run several per side.f

Your front axle will be slightly of-center with the 2" spacers, easily corrected by redrilling the lower mount for the front track bar a little toward the driver's side.

Rocky Road outfitters (do a google search) has the spacers in 1, 1.5, and 2 inch.

You will not have any problems with the driveline at 2" of lift. As for your shocks, you don't have to replace them, but if you go offroad alot you should consider it. If you go the route Bounty Hunter suggested or use a 1" spacer I wouldn't worry about the shocks.

Have you considered just replacing the sagged coil springs? They are not very expensive and the labor is the same as the spacers.
