99 TJ gear questions

if I upgrade the gear ratio from 3.55 to 4.10, Cant i just change the ring and pinion gears? I know I have to change out the front differential to hold the 4.10.

Yes but there is more to swapping the unbolting old and bolting new...

That's our plan for the incoming TJ project we will work on right after finished installing the brake kit and truck wheel and tire packages for the Silverado project. Would appreciate if you do some write up on your progress.

If you go lower than 4:10 be sure they fit in the differential.
They get thicker and larger ring.
