99 Tj fuel filter?????

Is their an inline fuel filter anywhere on a 1999 jeep with the 2.5 four cylinder I know their is two sock in the tank but couldnt find one in line anywhere

I'm pretty sure there is no inline one, only the one(s) in the gas tank.

as far as i know its in the tank. its not cheep. i do have a 97' but i think they are the same.

The fuel filter is on top of the fuel pump module retained with a metal strap. Its also known as the fuel pressure regulator.
