99 TJ Center Console,, HOW TO???

Anyone built or have a bookmark
for Building a console out of diamond plate?

In process of designing my own, and as always
would like to see what others have done.

I am working on it and I will let you
know when I find out something but I am sure
someone will beat me to the post....Oh by the way
I called a place where we buy all our steel from and
I can get a sheet of diamond plate any thickness
for 220.00 a sheet and the size is 4'x8'..... :-D [addsig]

I built mine out of .080 Aluminum, you can basically do the same thing with diamond plate but if you get to thick of a sheet it won't bend easily in the brake... if your using one that is. You can do it just take your time and have a good
friend with lots of cool tools....And cool ideas from
other Jeep People.... :-D we going to use up the
rest of those pics' so I can see them??? :lol: :lol:

USMPK9 - The object which was destined to lie between the ragged front seats of my Jeep is a 50cal ammo box. Perfect. Great height, length...all the measurements. However...no one person should discourage invention. If fabrication is your ball of wax...then go nuts. Either way...they seem to eat up all the needless products in existence. I'm convinced of that. ...at least. Have good mosh pitting![addsig]

You can't beat a good old ammo can hard reliable
and even water proof ....Plus in a .50 cal can it will
hold a ton of crap........ :-D [addsig]
