hey all , this is a great site lots of good info.does anyone know if my 92 can have full doors&soft top like my 2005?every photo of yj with full doors shows hardtop or softtop with 1/2 doors

Yup! You just need to find the full doors that has the correct latch type. If you have a bolt type striker on the body, you can use a full door off a 79- 81 CJ doors. There's going to be some minor adjustments like the angle of the windshield and the door hinges.

Don't YJ soft tops have a square top corner, while the hard tops have a rounded one?

I think that all full hard doors have a rounded corner though.

I may be totally off, as I'm doing this from memory.

Uhhmm, oh yeah, your correct Terry. I forgot about that square corner on the top.. This is what you gotta look forward to when your getting ready to be a grandpa.. In that case,Bumback999, you will need a door surround off a TJ and the sport bar that goes from the roll bar to the windshield frame. THEN, you will need a soft top off a TJ and have the front header section trimmed off and have a channel strip stitched on the end of it.

thanks for the help guys.i checked quadratec catalog and it says to get supertop with sportbar .should be easy

My old YJ had both tops and full doors. The soft top had a curved bar around that followed the shape of the door and the back windows wrapped around the bar and velcroed back to itself. I bought a set of half doors for mine and ended up having to buy another soft top to be able to use the half doors.
