6.2 diesel, trans and transfer case in a 90 yj ?

I was wonder could a 6.2 diesel from a 90 suburban fit in a 90 yj. I have the whole suburban, was rear ended and insurance co. says its totaled. I know it would be a pain in the ass if at all possible, but is it at all possible ? Or should I just find another suburban ? engine and trans have 35,000 and 20,000 miles respectively.

You know you're in trouble when the motor alone outweighs the vehicle!

A few full size Jeeps have them swapped in and it's pretty heavy for them too. If the GM is solid axle, the front bolts in but the rear needs spring pads. 3" lift springs in front will make it sit level.
