4x4 quit working...

Hey guys I am new to the jeep world and I am having a weird problem. I am driving an '01 TJ sport-been using the 4x4 in the last few days due to snow. Yesterday went to put it in 4x4 and it won't 'click' in-the lever just won't stick in the 4-hi position. I have only been driving it for a couple weeks as it is my dad's and I am just driving it for a while, but as far as I could tell everything worked very well prior-much better than my blazer :-D It is still under warranty but I am very busy with school so I was going to see if this is a known problem so maybe I could tell the dealer what I think it could be.. TIA

My friend has a 97 TJ and there is a rubber piece of linkage on his that goes from the shifter to the t-case and has come off before which cause there to be no selection of 4wd. If at all possible crawl under the jeep and look at the linkage between the shifter and the t-case. Hope you get you 4wd back :-( [addsig]

Well I fixed it..there was a ton of ice packed above the skid plate that wouldnt allow it to kick in..one $3.00 car wash is a cheap fix in my book
