4.3 vortec v6

i found a 4.3 vortec v6 out of a 99 4 wheel drive s10. would the computer and brain be a problem? do i have to use it? it comes with transmission and transfer case also. will this cause greater drive shaft problems? What will be the best bet with it? thanks in advance

computer needs to go with it, or it will never run.. keep the transmission and case... you will have to find a driveshaft solution

will the driveshaft angle be worse?? how much money am i looking to spend in all not counting the engine transmission and transfer case?

I cant answer those questions but those are great engines

That is a great drivetrain. You shouldn't have any more issues with driveshaft angles than you currently have, that's not a real long drivetrain.

Good choice on keeping the GM transmission and transfer case.

4.3 is a beut Had one in my blazer decent milage plenty of power much beetter sounding than a 4.0

the 4.3V is very often mistaken for a V8 because of its strength
