I've got way more respect for a even slightly modified XJ than that booty fabbed pic of a thing that was posted.
That thing couldn't clear a brick on a city street. That's that good German engineering!
My XJ may have a few GM parts thrown in for good measure. But it still has the dependable, reliable, 4.0 that DC sold down the river for a 3.8 VAN motor that makes all of it's torque over 5000 rpms, another great decision. That'll be good for trails...
For all of you "purest" the XJ was a financial boom for the Jeep label. It was a big sucess and made the whole company stronger from the sales. It has earned it's place in the family history and it's not a bas*ard child.
