2003 Jeep TJ Misfires. HELP!

I bought my TJ less than a month ago, and it's been awesome. However, yesterday a problem started up that I thought was gone. It was firing improperly after a quick warm up. A check of the engine codes showed:

Coil #3 - Peak primary circuit current not achieved with maximum dwell time

Multiple Cyl. Misfire in cylinders 3 and 4

This started while i was driving on some really wet snow, so once it dried out the problem seemed to go away. BUT .. today it's raining and it's giving me one error code now.

P0353 - Peak primary circuit current not achieved with maximum dwell time (same as before)

what can be causing this and what do I have to do to fix it / keep troubleshooting. And, is the water compounding or causing the problem? ANY help is well received, thanks.

Probably a stupid question, but have you swapped out the plugs and wires? That solved misfire problems I've had in the past with my '03 4Banger. I think the owner's manual says you should change out the plugs every 30K miles...........I know my little 4Banger goes through them pretty quick.

03 wrangler should have coil packs. ive seen many coil packs go bad or maybe it is arcing and the humidity from the rain and wet make it come out. just a thought

Do you have a leak in your exhaust manifold ? I dont know why but when mine a had a crack , everytime it was really wet outside it ran really ruff.

I changed the plugs and cleaned the wires (the I6 engine has the coil packs and plug wires all in one enclosed unit. Seems to run good now, thanks for the help. We'll see in the next rain how she handles.
