07 & 08 four door models

Man, are they hard to find. I capped Cristina's cash at 20k to buy a four door which means she can only get one of those two years. Who would've thought it would be this hard to find one though. We went to every lot in town and 08 is the oldest they carry because the bank won't finance older. I explained we are paying cash and they said we are just going to have to drive till we see one sitting on a smaller lot or a private seller has one. This sucks

Haha, I've been in a few different jks and I prefer my 2007 to them. Too many things that can't get wet. Plus it's the first year they made four doors which I think is pretty cool. Good luck! I hope you find a good one.

Thanks man, I hope so too. I think an 07 would be perfect because we would have the 87, first of the wrangler models and the the 07, first of the four door models

I tend to avoid the first model year of any major model change, such as the '97 TJ and the '07 JK. Seems there's often a learning curve with assembly lines.

That being said, 20k seems like a lot for an '07 or '08, especially when demand for the '12 and the new drivetrain will surely drive the price of older JK's down.

That is what I thought but the closest of any year that is below or at 20k is an 07 2wd four door that is three hours south of here. It's listed at 17999. All the rest I have found and went to see I get the normal bs line that "that one just sold but we have this one for 24000". What a bunch of crap and a huge waste of my time.

The first one has four wheel drive. That black four door. It would do well.

Neither link works on the ol iphone and all the laptops at home took a dump at the same time, mysteriously. And so did the routers. Sucks because the ipods won't pick up the new system for some reason

i know. i have made the trip before for vehicles so its not really an issue of the drive. the problem is that every four door i can find under the price cap is a two wheel drive model, even the saharas. i am not sure the two wheel drive wrangler was such a good idea, now that i am having to deal with them.

i have found about 9 to check out but every time i call, its a two wheel drive model.

there is a nice 2011 black on black 4x4 in austin (4 hours) for under the price cap but its a 6 speed. i am going to have to discuss this negativity to standard models with cristina. she can drive a stick, we have owned many sticks, so i don;t know why she is set against one.

oh well
