    Wiper Relay Location?

1041024 Thanks, Raven. I checked, and there lots of other relays in there but no wiper. Someone else I know thinks it's up under the dash, but they're not sure. Mike[addsig]

1041127 Raven, That's great news! I thought it would be more expensive, and harder to work on. I'll have to check out ALLDATA.com. Thanks for the help, Mike[addsig]

    97 wranger oxygen sensors

1040121 Thanks for the info.... I really appreciate it! I'm finding out that the folks who own Jeeps are a breed of very helpful people. The light has gone out after being on for about a day, but if it comes on again I know what to do now! Thanks again, Mike [addsig]

    Engine misfire

1040127 Have you checked your distributor cap to see if it's cracked? If moisture gets inside, that can cause engine miss. Also check your ignition wires to see that there are no cracks and that they are firmly plugged in. HTH, Mike [addsig]

    Runnin\' hot???

1040208 Greetings, Although 210 is still in the "normal" zone according to the manual (center position) getting around 220 seems a bit warm, although our '97 TJ doesn't have A/C. Your Winter temp sounds too cold, though so it couldn't hurt to have your cooling system flushed and replace the...

    Soft Top Window Cleaning Problem

1040369 Hi again, I tried the GooGone, but that doesn't take the writing off. Also tried plastic window polish with no luck. Of course now that the weather is warm the top and windows are off (yes!). But I'd still like to get the darn stuff off. If anyone has another idea I'd be grateful...

    Soft Top Window Cleaning Problem

1040200 Hi folks, When we bought our '97 TJ a couple weeks ago, a dealer had written the mileage on the side soft window with one of those grease pencils. On a regular glass window you remove this with steel wool, but that would be a problem on the plastic. (no kidding!) How can I get this...

    Soft Top Zipper Care

1040205 Hi again, I have read that zippers should be sprayed with silicone, but the owner's manual says to rub them with bee's wax or soap. Which is better? Will silicone stain the top fabric? Thanks, Mike Grove [addsig]

    Wiper Relay Location?

1040850 Hi all, My '97 TJ has to have a new wiper relay installed - the wiper delay quit working. The mechanic has no idea where this little unit is, and to avoid him having to take something apart that he doesn't need to, I'm hoping someone here may know the answer. Thanks as always...
