Wiper Relay Location?

Hi all,



My '97 TJ has to have a new wiper relay installed - the wiper delay quit working. The mechanic has no idea where this little unit is, and to avoid him having to take something apart that he doesn't need to, I'm hoping someone here may know the answer.

I checked, and there lots of other relays in there but no wiper. Someone else I know thinks it's up under the dash, but they're not sure.

After checking ALL DATA on it.... there does not appear to be a relay for the wiper system, just the fuses. There is however a delay relay inside the motor housing itself.It's simply a circuit board like in a computer. THat is your problem. You can easily and cheaply replace this in about 10 minutes and around 20 bucks.[addsig]

We have ALL DATA at the shop, and I wanted a copy of it for myself, but I found out it cost almost $4,000 and needs to be upgraded every year for another 500...... So, I just use it at work now.
