Yeah, the rubbing is annoying if nothing else. I was looking at some 15x8 alloy black rock wheels online. Leaning towards alloy, since I don't do alot of off roading (yet) and didn't want to add excessive weight.

So, it soumds like I should invest in control arms and possibly a skid plate before installing a cv or slip yoke. Am I getting that right?

I've got the hardware that is supposed to go directly into the guard (the stainless idea sounds better though). what I don't have is anything to attach them from the bottom. I currently have side steps on too and they'll be coming off asap. Here's a pic of what I'm refering too.

Okay. So I have come down to two lifts that have what I think I need. The first one is a Teraflex 3" and the second is a Black Diamond 3". Leaning towards the Black Diamond since it comes with shocks and a more complete package. Any pros or cons to either companies lift kits?

Could I go with a 2" or 3" suspension kit? And if I did, would I need to replace the shocks? Also, would I "need" a slip yoke/cv setup?

I'd really like to lift my '04 TJ, but know nothing about this. How much lift can I get before I need to make changes to my driveline? I'd like to stay below 4", maybe a 2"-3"?
