With 6" you'll need an SYE. 35s can work on the dana35 but there is a very high chance it will break, maybe not onroad as much as off.

'93 YJ new clutch won't shift

I'm having the same issue in my 88 YJ with a NV3550 put in it. I used a sealed clutch/master set up so I know there is no air in the line. I've gotta pump the clutch into gear. I've tried everything aside from taking out the trans again. You might have air in the clutch line. If you just...

    What Winch To Buy ?

If you are getting it for looks find the cheapest one that looks nice. No point in spending lots of money on a good one that isn't going to get used. A cheap one will hold up for a few pulls and if you rarely plan on using it that could be all the winching you'll ever do. Cheap meaning not warn...

    Skyjacker Lift Problems

I bet the problem is the angle of the transfer case with the stock bracket. The shifter bracket mounts to the body then to the transfer case. Dropping the case an inch pulls it away from the body so it screws up the linkages. The bracket should fix it. Or Novak Conversions makes a nice shifter...

Does it die because of the battery? Tried having the battery replaced? When it dies and you try to start it back up does it crank like the battery is still holding a good charge or is it weak?

    Skyjacker Lift Problems

Did you have them install an SYE or just the transfer case drop that comes with the kit? I had used a skyjacker kit on my old TJ awhile back and they gave me a transfercase correction bracket that adjust the linkages so it does not bind and levels it out due to the drop backet. Check if that is...

97 jeep tj gas tank capacity increase

I think it depends on if you have the stock 15 gallon tank. You cut some of the fill tube off. As posted above, plenty of write ups..mostly on YJs but should be the same type of thing.

    88 YJ 4WD problems

J is right, 2, 4, N, 4L. I've got an 88 and my vacuum system was shot for that axle shifter fork thing and kept having leaks. I'm sure Bounty pegged it in the first response.

    Portable tool batteries

We've used those knock off ones for a bit. Overall they don't last as long as the dewalt ones, they start to die out about half the time as normal. We were never successful getting a warranty because it still "holds a charge", even though its a half charge. We got just about a year out of them...

    Who's got the worst commute?

I've got an easy 10 minutes never traffic in. Ride back depends on where the last job was, most of the time its the same back.

    1911 recommendations

I did look at the range officer and liked what I saw. Never able to fire one yet. Out of all the 1911s I've fired, Colt and Kimber have been the ones I've liked the most.

Wow, Just checked it out. Really nice but a bit overkill for me. Don't get me wrong i'd love to have it if somebody gave it to me. No way I can toss 5,000 on a handgun. Was really looking for best performance outta the box, Mods will be done to the gun slowly as I see the need for it. Gotta be...

I'm sure we have shooters in the bunch here... I'm in the market for a 1911 in a few weeks. Pros and Cons of the big brands? I was looking at Kimbers, but somebody told me to see if I can find a Dan Wesson or a Les Baer. The 1911 will be be a sub for my S&W model 14 in bullseye shooting, So...

    aux offroad lights

Most companies use a plug and play type of harness that's really easy to set up, just have to tap into your headlight wire for the relay if you want to use that. I used IPF lights for a long time and like 'em. I had a set of Hella a long time ago, both lenses cracked pretty quickly then again...
