nutter
rubicon express makes a good kit and if you want the best price go to mesa4x4.com I was going to do this until my t-case blew up. From what I found they have the best kit. hope this helps Evan
bypass your computer, see nuter bypass for instructions, infact I would try that before you go getting a new carb. I did the bypass to my 89YJ and it has never run better why spend the money when you can spend ten minutes and a couple of wire conectors and have the job done. Hope this helps Evan
one major thing you will need to find out is about the computer and the compatablility with a bigger motor. If you can find someone to make a chip or if a jet chip will sufice, I would think that running your stock computer with a larger displacement and bigger cam would prove problematic for...
ck out 4x4 Garage it's a magazine put out by the publishers of car craft. The last issue had a great article on axle swaps, they listed strong and weak points, max tire size on stock axle, and also what you could find them in in the junk yard.
find a 700r4 and a t-case out of a chevy pickup and through her in there. Not sure if there is a floor shifter made to be compatable with jeep autos, we were trying to find one for my friends 90yj but could not.
I'm assuming this is off of a straight six, well anyhow make sure both surfaces are clean, then through the gasket out you got from the parts store or take it back and trade it in for some right stuff. It's a gasket making material. I have done the valve cover gasket on my jeep 3 times the last...
No Moe Carb Blues No Moe
thanks for all the help guys I called novak and they said it should it should work, however I might haft to modify the linkage a little bit. Thanks Evan.
ps if anyone wants an 89 YJ let me know.
try to get your hands on a stethiscope like the doctors use and move it around until the sound is the loudest this will help you narrow down your problem. Your local autoparts store should have something along these lines.
I blew up the t-case in my jeep :( and I was wandering if a t-case out of a 97 tj with a 6 and a 5sd will work in my 89 6cyl 5spd (ax-15) and if so what I can do to make it work. Please let me know I haven't had a moving jeep for three months :(
Thanks Evan
I would do the nutter bypass, it will make your jeep run better, I'm not sure if it will cure your problem but for the 20 minutes it takes to do the bypass it is well worth it.
J:UN where are you located, I might know of someone who would swap you the old style for the new style. E-mail me to let me know. Evan

I don't have an answer for the steering, but try the nutter bypass on the carb. It should take care of those problems. Also make sure your ignition parts are in good shape, plugs wires, cap, rotor.
What The Hell
Yes but to get 2 inches out of a shackle lift the shackles would have to be 4 inches longer than stock, most likely you will only get about an 1. So you should decide if the money is worth the extra lift, I would also be careful of how sturdy the shackle is because that is one key...
With 3500 miles it sounds like a problem I'd let the dealer worry about, warranty is a great thing it's free and it makes the problem theirs and not yours.
Yea I did, I won't have time to go ck on shipping until, sat I have a big test tommorrow and have to work all day friday after I get out of class. Sorry about the delay, I will do my best to take care of it as soon as possible, but school comes first. Thanks I will e-mail you back with more...
