just scored a dana 44 front

i cant be entirerly sure but.....i gonna have to say that it is a flat top knuckle....a flat top knuckle has a large flat surface on top of the boss.( top part of the knuckle). However you will need to get 9/16 studs put in in order to mount the hi-steer arms....check out pirates BB for a ton...

i didnt see any of the traction tabs for the 9inch....only 35, 44, 60 and 14 bolt. All i need to buy are the tabs that mount on the axle....i want them to look pretty and they proll wont look as nice if i cut them out myself.

just scored a dana 44 front

dana 44 front & rear My Ford 3/4 44 used the same size banjo bolt in the front cailpers as my stock jeep ones....so if that waggy 44 uses banjo bolts you should be all set. You may need to lenghten the flexiable line or move the hardeline underneath the frame instead of leaving it on the...

    How to lift it?

Well put tug and i agree 100%... Hardcore can also be interrpreted as a lifstyle and making the HUGE (at least in my case) amount of sacrifices to be able to go out on the trail and brake shit and fix shit with my buddies. Also leaving having to leave a jeep in the woods for a week and going...

    How to lift it?

lol..i am a university student and i managed to do a SOA over the course of a winter....but i understand where you are coming from. Some people need to drive there jeeps everyday to school and work:lol: hardcore....hardcore...hardcore....hardcore.....hardcore...hardcore...

    How to lift it?

ok..i see that the term "HardCore" has been taken out of context. Anybody that purposively beats the livin snot out of their jeep on the trails is HARDCORE.....however in order to run the big meats SOA is requirered...ahhhh...much more politically correct now

    How to lift it?

no i am not saying that....however i dont see too many SUA jeeps competing at the higher level( professionally) or trying the real hard trails (locally)....they are all either coilover or SOA...easy Bounty you'll have a chance to go SOA someday... ...lol.. sorry if i pissed anyone off...

    How to lift it?

Need Seatbelts. actually Bounty i have a ton of spring wrap with my SOA and the flattening of my springs is my least concern....i have broken 4 straps, 2 yokes, lost a number of u-joints and a driveshaft so far this season....lol...thank god winter is here so i can build a wrap bar  that...

    How to lift it?

SOA is much better than a reg. lift kit IMO. however it can be much more expensive and harder to accopmlish porperly.

okay... here's a (maybe) stupid question - axle vents...

lol...just run the line how ever you want!...for my 9inch i ran it right up through the tub and hooked it on the inside lip of the tub... if you are looking for the plug on the axle look right on top of the differential.

    RearEnds

awww..i didnt know that. what vechicals came with the bigger ring gear?
  18. west747

    RearEnds

i would go with a 14 bolt simply because Pro's 1) they are cheaper than a 60' 2) the gears are easier to set up for a 14 bolt 3) they are stronger than a dana 60 Con's 1) less ground cleareance than a dana 60 2) less locker options( but who needs lockers when you have spools or a welder!!!!)...
