Tried to keep up as well, I haven't really sunk much into the XJ but the YJ is astronomical. I would say almost 5k since last November which is more than I paid for it.

Might be the ISA motor if it turns out not to be the pump. Will it turn over if you give it gas and then die when you let off?

Same here....I have replaced every part of my emmissions system trying to fix the problem with no luck. It still runs rich and cannot pass emmissions. I had to rig an address in a different county without emmissions to get a tag. Very frustrating.....:x

I run 31x10.5's so I guess I would need 4.56 gears for dana 30. Is that right? Does transmission matter? What should I expect to pay.

You will be happy with Sirius. I don't know about the customer service because I have never had a problem. I have a portable unit with the boombox. I love it. The boombox is great for camping or just sitting around having a beer. Plus Sirius carries every NFL game.

The 4banger has Fuel injection from 1990 to present. However, the 90 YJ has Throttle body injection and most of the aftermarket parts will not work for it (air intake, TB Spacer, Ect.). The 91-95 has MPI FI just like the 4.0 to the best of my knowledge. I wouldn't reccomend it for the interstate...

I don't know what the cost difference is from the 4 to 6, but if possible I would get the 6 unless you want better gas mileage. Both ahve their advantages, but the 6 is a much more versitle Jeep for resale as well. I have owned 2 4bangers and have not been impressed for the record.

I don't have a TJ, so I am unfamilar with the set up, but why would it fit the XJ/YJ and not the TJ? I am sure it can be done somehow.

I wonder if the helix spacer that they are selling makes that much difference for the extra $7. Ebay Item 330033785561 I bought a cone filter and tube on ebay for chaep from a seller called chromeintakes. It made a huge difference. I might try out this spacer for the XJ as well.
