zj leafs

I notice that a lot of people use ZJ leafs on their XJ's.

Is there more lift? How much? Why? And is it cheaper? I'm looking to go 5.5 to 6" and currently have the 4.5" from rusty's w/ add-a-leafs.

ZJ have coils not leaf's.

I had it in my head they had leafs in the back. My bad. I own an XJ not a ZJ.

So it's a coil conversion every one is talking about? Makes a helluva lot more sense now.

Check out Dodge Durango leaf springs, I've heard they will work in the back of an XJ for lift. Best to get a full leaf pack instead of AAL when going for that much lift.

Well, that's what I actually had in mind. Durango eh? Rusty's sells a full leaf pack, what are the advantages of stealing a durango's springs? Obviously if I find a junker that'll be obvious: Cost. But is one better than the other?

oh, and how much lift does that actually give?
