YJ tub on CJ frame

Ok guys n gals do any of you know if a yj tub will fit on my 79 cj frame with a cj one piece clip cowl and will it still appear to be a cj ?

I swapped a YJ tub onto my old CJ. I swapped everything from the windshield back, jeeping the CJ fenders, grill and hood. I believe all but two body mound lined up. It looked exactly like a CJ except for the tailgate - the YJ has a swing out tailgate while the CJ has a fold down one.

Overall it's a good swap.

yea it works good. we put a 85 cj7 on a 95 yj frame we had the tailgate hinges moved so we could keep the drop down tailgate, it was mare work than it was worth. the tailgate part not the body swap that was easy.
