I'm trying to figure out how my console is supposed to lock.. It's almost like it's missing a piece. Does anybody have any pictures of the lock and lock receptacle on the stock YJ console?
Most of the YJ center consoles I have known do not lock as they are missing parts right down to the button you put the key in. They just don’t seem to have held up well. This may be what your problem is.
