XJ Roof rack or external mount for spare tire

Do all the YJ's, with the 5 speed- 4 cyl, have 4.10 gears? Someone that I was talking to said that they did, so I thought I would ask you guys.

Unless it was a special order when originally bought, yeah. Not sure if that was an option to change the ratio on a 4 banger, but I know it was for the 6 cyl.

Yes, all YJ 2.5L 5spd jeeps have 4.10 gears. You may come across a 3.73 but it'd be a rare bird, there's seldom a perfect rule when it came to building jeeps. The YJ 2.5L auto came with 3.73 gears.

If you have the 6 cyl, there are a bunch of gears that it could have come with

Okay, thanks a lot for the help. The tag on my rear end broke off, so I've never really known what gears I have (also been too lazy to take it apart and look!). Figured it was 4.10 though.

For 33's, what would be the recommended ratio to go to? I do a lot of on road driving, so I need something that will be able to get my Jeep up hills and everything. Right now I have 31's, and it is terrible.
