check engine light isnt on but decided to check out to see if there were any codes. Recently changed pcm. came up codes 33 and 62. 33 is an open or shorted condition detected in the A/c clutch relay circuit and 62 is unsuccessful attempt to update SRI miles on the PCM. any clue how to go about fixing these and why they might have came up, they never showed before.

Yea I gotta yj too. How did u find those codes. My dad had bought me this scantron thing where I plug it into an obi outlet on newer cars only. Then I do it if check engine light comes on. Then it would tell me a code. From there I had purchased Haynes Repair Manual for Jeep Wranglers from 1989 thru 2008. In there it has a section towards the end call emissions codes then you look it up and it should tell you the page number and what to do.

i do the old method where you turn the key to on then off 3 times. On the third time the engine light will be on. then go off and it will start blinking. you count the blinks and youll get your set of numbers. from there you can look at a haynes manuel for the code meanings or do like i do and just go online and find them there

the way to read the blinks is in sets. so at first it will blink i believe ones. then stops. then 2 times. that will tell you taht the computer is working. From there it will blink a couple times. stop. then blink again. that will be the next number. and so forth. the last blinks should be 5 times. stop. then 5 times again. that means that it is finished with the test.

Oh sorry man I don't have that one I gotta a simple easy to use but a little pricy. My dad bought it for me for Christmas one year. Sorry.
