xj won't turn over

For a few months my 97 xj has been giving me some trouble when trying to start it. Everything works except it won't turn over. Soo I've been going in the fuse box removing the starter relay and jumping it with a paper clip to start it. So I know the start is good and I just replaced the relay so that's not it either. Now I'm here..

Check your ignition switch and connectors for heat damage. Wiggle the connector to the switch as you turn the ignition to the start position and see if thats where the problem is.
