OK now that I have time to breath I will let you all know what the need was!
Wranglerwhat89 is here from detroit along with his brother and sister and friend to play in the woods. Nice well set up 98 TJ and a 99 XJ. The later of the two was haven all sorts of trouble keeping cool on the road much less the trail.
Started off with the replacement of thermostat on to fan clutch then we replaced the radaitor late last night. The replacement radaitor had a simle water clamp type outlet on the radaitor and the original had a much heavyer high presure hose and fitting.
Was so afraid to cut the high presure hose and just clamp the fresh cut end to the new fitting due to the potential cost of a new hose. Thinking the new radaitor was just a misfire on the AutoZone Quality Sales Person who sold it to us. As in the wrong part not that that could ever happen at AutoMone!!! hehehehe
So I did the best thing I could I went to my key board and came straight here to my Jeepz Peepz and sought help. Again thanks for just being her for who ever has the good sence to come here and ask! I will be standing by to be of any service to any one that I can help in return... How ever humble my service might be.
In the end if you have a 99xj auto 6 banger and need to change the radaitor feel safe to cut off the high pressure end of the transmission cooling line and shove that puppy upon the lower simpler inlet and clamp that dawg down useing a simple water line clamp.
