Wrangler TJ seats in a YJ

Ok, so I need to question the fit of seats.

I have a 89 wrangler. Got seats out of a 1997. will they fit? The seats are the seats, rails, risers, and all. What do I need to do to get them to fit? Or is it as simple as unbolting the old oens and bolting in some new ones?

Shocks?

I don't think they will, without some modifying. considering CJ and YJ seats are interchangable but TJ seats have to have an Adapter to make the CJ and YJ Seats Fit.

my understanding was that is true if you are just swapping the seats. this is why I got the seat risers, rails, and everything.

who knows...may have to wait till they get here, then will find out for sure

Well, If you have the TJ Risers and stuff it should bolt to the Floor.
