i wire brushed the back end and have been painting it a little at a time.

i also bought some of hte corner armor to cover the dents on the back and allow me to put the lights and gas filler back where they are supposed to be

I'm jealous. If I left a CJ5 outside at Virginia Beach it would be a pile of rust within 6 months.

Keep the pictures coming.

Oh that musta been where mine came from. Lol.

Are ya going back with camo?

i don't think so. since its for my oldest son, he isn't to the point of being able to drive around with camo paint yet. he is still trying to get used to driving around in a 76 lifted cj instead of his mom's 07 four door.

i learned last night that it needs the diode added to the alternator line. that explains the inability to shut it off with the key. :)

Every time my son borrows my CJ I say the same thing. Just remember son, drive it like it's an old Jeep an not a fine european sports car.

yup. luckily all he has ever driven are jeeps, cristina's 07 and my 87 so he is not accustomed to high speed turns or quick take offs, ha ha ha
