wirring schematic

Ok now I'm looking for a wirring schematic for the stock reverse lights in a wrangler. Can anybody help me out with this one. What I'm looking for is a ground wire that is for just the reverse lights. THANKS AJ

The ground wire for the reverse lights is your Chassis. I believe they, and the other lamps in the tail-light housings all ground through the mountng bolts... no grounding wires. :mrgreen:

Ok, I verified that in the Jeep schematics. They DO ground through the case mounting bolts.

Ok is there any ground wire in the whole reverse light circuit? Maybe by the switch on the trans? just tring to make this work. THANKS AJ

Nope.

However, you do realize that the entire metal chassis (body & frame) of the Jeep act as one large ground wire, right? Because I'm happy to inform you that they do :mrgreen:

most automotive accessories are grounded through their mount, or to the chassis nearby
