Winch and mounting hardware for 85 CJ7

New to Jeeps. Have fairly stock 85 CJ7. Need recommendations for a good winch and mounting plate that won't break the bank.

I like the Smitty built for the money. Warn is tried, and true, but pretty expensive.

I got mine from ebay for 299. Also, the mounting plate is on ebay for 60. You get all the hardware, fairlead, gloves, pulltab, cable, and hook. Not a bad deal at all. I haven't really been in a position where I had to use it yet, but from my research, people seem to really like them. There's my two cents.

my smittybuilt has been test many times,hasn't failed yet. wouldn't have any other, you can buy 2 for the price of 1 warn. built my own bumper and mount.happy wheelin
