Thanks

I have always called them Hurricane mags.........................

I just dated myself didn't I?

Yeah, I'm showin' off...

they kind of look like Glass79CJ5dude's rims. if i remember correctly someone asked him about them and there was part of a post about it. if i can find the post, i'll put up the link. then again i could be wrong about the whole thing

Keep in mind the Cj in that pic has a different bolt pattern (5 ") than your wrangler (4.5") If you do find them, make sure they will fit before you spend your $$$.

I would LOVE to find some Slotted Rims. I have found some but 15x7 front and 15x8 rear may not look so good. they came off a 62 vette :) 5x4.5 works for me :).

hey thanks you guys for the info on those rims!

Too bad they wont fit on my 87 YJ unless i change things around.
bummer

Theres something older rims I like, and something about my stock YJ rims I dislike. Mine are the same as TwistedCoppers(not painted)

anyone want them let me know

I know someone that has a set of those for sale. I did not ask how much but I can give you a phone number if you want. The guy tears down dead CJ's and sells the parts. I think the lug pattern was 5 on 5 1/2. pm or email me if you want his info.

nevermind that, I wanna know where you can get those half-hardtops!

Came from a CJ8 Scrambler.

If you really want to run some CJ mags, install some wheel spacers that convert your lug pattern to 5x5.5".

Salt Lake City parking and maintnace had wranglers with half tops on them. I have not been downtown for a while so I don't know if they still have them but they will eventually end up at a junk yard.
