While driving the information center will beep 3 times and the wheels will start to blink, no messages, just wheels blinking.
Anyone know what causes this to happen ???

Hi,

I really don't know much about that system so this is just a guess. If that information center gets any info from the Antilock Brake System, maybe one of your wheel sensors is sending an incorrect signal which is making the "wheels" in the display blink?

Or maybe the blinking wheel indicators are there to indicate that "yes, the Jeep actually IS moving"

RE: sony radio cj7

No mention of the blinking wheels or anything associated in the owners manual , only mentions what the info center has to display. no trouble shooting tips.
I have read in other postings about a message that comes up with blinking wheels but i no messages with mine.
just trying to narrow it down.
Thanks for the input

I thought an information center was one of those little booths at rest stops :?

Don't know about all those bells and whistles, but maybe it is telling you that your tire pressure is low?

I was thinking that too. I do know some vehicles have that as a warning. I don't understand how though.

Does it have some sort of traction control system? If you do a burnout in my dads mustang with the traction control turned on, a little green wheel lights up on the dash to let you know the traction control is trying to do it's thing. If you have that on that Jeep, maybe it's malfunctioning and causing the light to come on.

RE: Really Stuck in the SNOW!!!!!!

Try the old disconnect the battery for 30 seconds and see if everything resets. Sometimes it just doesnt make sense. Although it sounds like an ABS problem to me.
