I SEE PEOPLE USE IT IN THEIR EXPLAINATIONS, NOT SURE WHAT IT IS. CLARIFICATION PLEASE. I'M SURE IT IS A DUMB QUESTION. WHAT DOES THE ACRONYM STAND FOR? :-? [addsig]

SYE is an acronym for Slip Yoke Eliminator from companies such as advanced adapters and tom woods drive shaft. It removes the slip yoke from the rear of the transfer case and replaces it with a fixed yoke, adds a lot stonger output shaft, adds about 5 inches to the drive shaft length, adds a cv (constant velocity) style shaft, reducing the angle of the shaft and reducing vibration. Commonly found on jeeps with 4+ inches of suspension lift. Another added bonus of these SYE is that you can remove the T-Case drop and increase the ground clearence.

Do a search in like yahoo and you will get a hundred million sites about instillation and performance.

WELL THAT MAKE SENSE. IS THAT SOMETHING YOU CAN GET TO MAINTAIN STABILITY ON THE ROAD AFTER DOING A SOA, 5 1/2 IN LIFT?[addsig]

I don't thing that the SYE would add stability in any way after the SOA... There are not really many ways you can go about stabilizing a spring over jeep... but there are things you can get to help... adjustable trac bars, ladder bars, etc...

I like the strolling gator pic. If you could add a hat and maybe a skirt type swim suit???

Later,
Jackal :D

LadyGator, I think he is flirting with your gator....hehehehe :)

there's no rule against flirting here on Jeepz... and there are not many females here... way to be clever jackal

if you look closely... the gator is not taking a full stride... the left leg never reaches forward all the way, the right leg never reaches back all the way, the left arm never reaches back all the way, and the right arm never reaches forward all the way... so... it's not strolling... its skipping
