I replaced the rear brake shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders and drums. The hardest part was getting the brake line off the wheel cylinder, all in all it took me about an hour and a half.... not bad for my first time

got my new grab handles in and installed

no velcro or string ones for me. i wanted something solid and these were only a little more expensive then buying paracord or the other styles.

Went and bought another new pinion seal... hopefully this one won't leak.

I had the same problem with my Dana 44. Changed the seal and a few weeks later it started to leak again. Wound up replacing the seal and the pinion yoke.

If it leaks this time that's what I'll do.
The yolk looked fine no grooves or anything. This new seal felt tighter on the yolk so I'm hoping for the best.

The first seal was crown automotive from Quadratec.
This new one is a SKF seal from napa
