I watched my jeep CJ remain in the shop for upgrades and re fabrications.....
removal of front and rear bumpers and replacing with Kentrol bumpers front and back, cut off the back of the frame on both left and right sides due to rust erosion...(it was bad too), Skyjacker shocks, new back seat and front seat covers, and fabrication of new frame pieces...a lot of work but I want me jeep...getting antsy. Go Noles!nbers

Are those recaros seats out of a vw? Look like they are, maybe a bmw?

I bet if you look around the tracks, those are recaro trophy seats. Those range in price from 500-1000 bucks used. I searched for a long time for decent ones but never found a good price. I finally paid 300 for some stock 320i or recaros from a 78 or 79 BMW. I think those are vw ones though because of the threading in the center part and the knob that controls the tilt

Thanks - I'll take a look and let you know. The drivers side has a rip in it, grrr.... Had to get covers.

Finally got my crappy dana 41 axle cleaned up and primed.. Ready for paint and swapping my larger brakes over to it and install. Now to get the front ready. Not looking forward to driving 5.38,s on the road with a 4spd.

Parked my jeep in the garage for the first time since we moved here 9 years ago

Put some Rigid Lights on my Rock Rack. Plenty of light on the trail or camp site.

The Homelink I installed a few months ago quit working, so I had to replace the board inside with the other one I bought and I wired it to only power up with the ignition this time. I'm not sure if having a constant 12v burnt out the board or what...?

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Jeepz

Light install. Had one from a raffle, ordered a second to match. One's a flood, the other is a spot. Later tonight i'll finish tightening, adjusting and zip tying up/back the extra wire. Will see if the factory fog light wiring can hang. There led's and only 18 watts each. Will see..
