Has anybody here found any jeeps that have the Waxless paint on them.
I recall going to a car show around '89 and the jeep section there had a new fangled paint job on it that the guy said was a waxless paint. You just rinse it off. He said you DON'T wax it.
It was a flat color (I think they had tan) and looked like it was applied thicker than normal paint..
It kind of felt like a Line-X or Herculiner, without the little rubber bump beads. It did have texture to it.. not smooth.
I was just curious if anybody had heard how that worked out on the vehicle.
Obviously it did not "take" beacause they do not offer it anymore.
Also, Herculiner and Line-X comes in CoLoRs now! (probably Rino does too..)
I heard that the Line-X stand at the car show had a jeep that was completely done up in it. I would not mind having that jeep![addsig]
