wanted..keyed motor gear for a warn 8274

i am looking for a keyed motor gear for the warn 8274..i bought the splined gear new only to find out that i need a keyed gear..errr

Have you checked with Warn or a distributor?

Let me know where you find one, I just may need one someday. If you don't find the gear, just go ahead and upgrade to the newer 4.8hp motor and use the splined gear

hey bounty...i already talked with warn...they do not make or sell the keyed motor gear any more..i may jsut take the motor to a machine shop and have it splined to fit the gear i already bought if i cant find the keyed gear..

Any idea how old your 8274 is? Mine was built in '76 and still running strong.

there was no tag on this winch when i bought..it was also in a bout 50 peices..lol...this is a long term rebuild project for me.....then i will probably sell it and buy a 12000 warn winch cause all the rigs around here are getting pretty big..lol...lots of big trucks with big swampers..
