vw+jeep build

What parts of each do you plan on using? Seen just about everything done with a bug from 4x4 to big blocks to engines front and rear (at the same time).

I recently saw one in a parking lot in Chico, California. It looked awesome. From what I could see, it was a VW body set on a Jeep frame and running gear. The fit was much better than I thought would be possible.

I'm planning on starting it in the next few weeks.I've got a CJ7 frame and axles and a 78 VW superbeetle so far. I'll post some pics asap.Thanks 8)

I saw a guy wheeling a '78 CJ-7 with a old VW Beetle body on it the last time I was at Rausch Creek. Looked interesting...turned a lot of heads, that's for sure. So anyway, I guess I'm just saying I've seen proof that it has been done before, and it is possible.

Wasn't one it was for sale. Tried to find it again but couldn't but it had rocks, a sbc and he wanted a small fortune for it. And I too would wheel the crap out of it.
