Update: Stolen Stem Caps!!!!!!!

So yesterday afternoon I was walking up to my Jeep at work when I noticed that the drivers side front tire was missing the valve stem cap. Upon closer investigation I relized that the rear drivers side was also missing  . I was like huh that is odd. I then proceded to walk around the entire rig and to my surprise all the tires, including the spare, had their caps missing. So some dumb SOB stole them off the ride  I had the nice stainless caps that I got when I purchased my American Racing wheels. I know they are only a couple of bucks to replace but it really burns me that some one would mess with another mans Jeep. How lame is that. I think it may have happened at the movie thearter the night before and I didn't notice it until I was at work and in the light of day. I just had to vent to the Jeep people since I knew you would understand my anger. Thanks and later.

The kids in my neighborhood steel them for thier bikes constantly. When I get home late at night and their bikes are in the front yard I steel them back. Next time I am going to crazy glue them back on to the kids wheel after I take his air out. The last time they took them I didnt notice and went wheelin and got mud in the valves causing a slow leak.

Well I'm glad to hear some one else can feel my pain  That sux about the mud in the stems bit. I'm on my way to get new ones for the Jeep right now. Later

 I will stick with my crummy plastic ones.I'm sure no-one wants those.

OK so I went out this morning to replace my stem caps. I first went to Walmart to see what they offered and I found that I didn't like anything they had. They had the basic black plastic ones and then those silly battery operated lightup neon ones. So then I decided to drop by Merchants Tire where I bought the Wheels and Tires in the first place. So I walked in and the guy at the desk asked if he could help me. I explained what happened to my Jeep and he laughed and said God bless you. Then he said follow me. So we went out into the shop and he gave me five new steel caps just like the ones I had before for free. He and the other guys at the shop where totally cool and they told me some stories of the same thing happing to their stems or hup caps. They even wanted to rotate my tires, but I just did about a thousand miles ago. So it all turned out to be really cool :)

Someone steal the old ratty seat covers off of my brothers CJ I was selling for him, the day before a guy was going to pick it up after buying it. I could not believe someong would steal them.

I had a sparkomatic bass tube in the back of my jeep that was literally falling apart; I just hadn't gotten to the dumpster with it. Somebody saved me the trouble. People will take anything that's not bolted on, and sometimes they bring their wrenches and steal stuff that is bolted on.
