Trektop vs Sailcloth

I tried resurrecting an old thread, but maybe no one saw it. I've decided to cancel the tires/wheels/lift and go with getting the tub lined through TuffCustoms (if Kat will shoot me an email hahah!) and get a new soft top.

So my question is this: Is there a huge difference between the sailcloth vs. the cloth for the Trektop? Both products will be Bestop, so i know they will be good tops, but I guess it's boiling down to frame or no frame. I really like the look of the no frame, but if it's known to dissolve/crack/weather problems then I will go with the sailcloth. I also know sailcloth is the ubber of all soft tops, but if the trektop is pretty comparable in durability, then I think I will go with the Trektop. Does anyone have any pros/cons of the Trektop? if you wanna see the links, here is the sailcloth and here is the Trektop.

I would go with the sailcloth. Personal opinion. If its good enough for the sea, its good enough for me!

I'm in the same boat. Due for a new top but not sure which to get. I posted awhile ago if anyone had tried the Trektop but no one spoke up about having one.

I like the Trektop but won't buy one until I hear some real world experience with one.

I'm half tempted to just say screw it and try it out. I really think it would looks great.
