Transmission mount

I just got a new polyurethane transmission mount from daystar. Its pretty much a solid brick, but there is a through hole from the left side to right side, off centered from front to back. Does anybody know if this hole is supposed to be in the front or the back? The package doesn't give any indication.
Thanks.

Not sure if I understand you, but I think the hole in question is in the urethane, right? If so, that kind of like a flex for the mount to absorb some of the vibes. The only holes that matter are the ones that mount to the t-case and to the skidplate. Get those right, and the rest will work out.

Yes, the hole is in the urethane. I wish I had my roommate's digital camera right now to help me explain. There is a hole through the poly block such that if the transmission mount was installed, there would be a hole running from driver's side to passenger's side horizontally through the mount. Its not threaded or anything, just an oval shaped hole. It is off-centered front to back so that depending on which way you rotate the thing, it could be either towards the front of the vehicle or back. Everything else is symmetrical so if you rotate it like this, this hole is the only thing that would be different, so I can install it either way. I guess I have a 50/50 shot of getting it right, but I wanted to see if anybody else has ever done it. It is the same part number for all CJs and wranglers from 66-96 it says, so if anybody has done this, please let me know.
thanks!

Well, just to be sure I called Daystar. I didn't want to take all this stuff apart (broken transmission to transfer case adapter) and then put a part on wrong. If anybody else experiences this, they told me that through hole should be towards the front, but said it probably shouldn't really matter, just like redrooster said.

thanks guys.
