Transformers

I've got some friends coming over tomorrow I havn't seen in a while, and I'm thinking that we'll see Transformers the movie. I'm torn between Blockbusters and a 12 pack at home, or the big screen movie theatre.

So how good is Transformers? Do I need to see it on the big screen, or is a DVD good enough?

Friends you haven't seen in a while?????.........and ME basically being a cheap arse - I say go with the DVD. You can yack and catch up (kinda hard in a movie theater) and if ya' miss somethin', find the scene you missed and go from there!! And pound some brewski's while you're at it.

BTW.............haven't seen it yet - let me know what ya' think!

It is a damn good movie. They did a great job with it.

Beer+ Movie + friends you havnt seen in a bit = do it at home and have lots of fun

Unless you have blue ray and a 72" Plasma, you BETTER see that in the theatre.

Visually it's a pretty awesome movie. Remember tho, it's "Transformers" so don't expect story lines akin to Schindler's List. It's campy, funny, dorky, and thrilling.

Great effects.

52 inch DLP...and a standard old DVD player is still great as heck!

Dont know about you folks but we are all not as rich as ole Mingez here and can affort 72 plasma TV's...a girl friend.. a jeep...

heheheh its the mirrors!

I ended up just watching it on my home tv. It was pretty great - perfect for it's target audience.

My wife tried to tell me it was corney, but I wasn't having any of that.

The irony! I have no plasma. Alas, I have a 32 inch non-flat panel behemoth LCD. It's flat in the front tho... 8)

TERRY, was Megan Fox incredible or what? The scene where she's looking into the motor of the camero... d-r-o-o-l. I think she had to be computer generated too, cause I don't believe they make'm like that in real life.

Next time we could all do a road trip and hit Mingez's place and watch it on his 72 in plasma TV!
Hey Mingez...on your next trip to the store pick me up some of those Pizza hot pockets...and check to see what Terry wants before you go.

I absolutely positively agree that Megan Fox is a hottie.

Yeah, I seen it twice at the theaters and just loved it. The wife and kids though, thinks I'm reliving my childhood!
I'm not a big movie buff but I enjoyed that one.
