trailer light set up on new liberty

I like to ask I need to set up a connector for the trailer light on the boat trailer.I see a company that makes them called Curt company has part # 55027 T-Connector the set up I wonder how are these units

Man: I traded in my 2000 Jeep Cherokee with 94,000 for a new Liberty I still have a few questions to ask Like were is the other end of the transmission dip stick???
I read they no longer come with one I wonder if you can check the fluid with another aftermarket stick?

I was told if you removed the cap where the dip stick goes then you void the wrnty. I own a 2008.
