Too much on rear differential?

Hey Guys,
Will my Chevy 350 and 35 x 14.50 boggers be too much on my Dana 35? I know they are know to be weak axles.

Yep, too much. Those tires alone are too much, not to mention the 350  But you never know, you can always run that setup until in breaks, the replace the rear axle. I ran a hot 350 in my '88 YJ with 33"x9.5" MT's with no problem, with some decent fun wheelin. But then again I had the Peugeot BA10/5 transmission, so I through all common theories out the window

If you drive carefully it should be fine for awhile, but if you drive like me it'll break in a week or so. I say you invest in bigger axles and videotape breaking the 35. :D

it will have a 700r4 and my np 231. I don't rock climb either, muchless climb hills. Oh, I will think about that videotape idea.
