to rebuild or not to rebuild

i have a CARTER BBD on my jeep right now and i want to know if i should rebuild it or replace it the guy at the auto part store said that the rebuild kit that they can get me is a better quality of parts then what comes on the carter carb so what do you guys think

Not worth rebuilding, invest in a Motorcraft 2100 with a Mr. Gasket carb adapter.

is that all i will need is a Mr.Gasket adapter b/c i read somewhere that i would need to fab something up for the carb also i found this one on ebay what do you think?

I suggest Fuel Injection, yes it might be a costly investment, but in the log run it will pay for itself. with the ethanol that they put in fuel now, you'll be rebuilding/tuning any carb more often now than you ever did before

or

get an ethanol compatible rebuild kit, it will solve a lot of the issues of running a carb motor with 10-15% ethanol fuel.
