Will 32" tires fit under a YJ without a lift?

IF not, how about with a 1" shackle lift?

no. 32"s will not fit. you will need at least 1" of lift to fit that size tire. The tires will fit very tight in the wheel wells. they will probably rub the flares with the slightest bit of suspension movement.

not sure. they might, but they will still rub with the slightest bit of sus. mvmt. how much offroad do you do? if for mainly street use, it would probably work.

32" tires will fit with no lift. my friend had them on his wrangler and just put a 2" shackle lift. even now with the 2" lift they still rub with just a lil flex. he has about a 2-4" gap bwtween the tires and flairs

WILL NOT FIT :x You'll need at least 3" of lift to keep the tires from rubbing when the suspension moves.

I have 2.5" of lift on my '95 YJ and TJ flares, the 32" tires still slightly rub when the suspension is flexed.

Nope it won't fit I have 6" with 33's and exteme flex it might touch the fenders but 32's you will need something like a 2" body and a 1" shackle lift...:)

i ran 31's with 2" shackles and they would rub going over speed bumps, but my old leaf's where really sagged out, if you wanna run 32's i get a set of shackles and the add-a-leaf kit from rancho (if you dont have the money to get a full set of lift springs) and you should work out just fine, that oughta be about 3.5 " of total lift

You'll need 3.5 to 4" for 32's to fit right. Yes you can stuff the tire under with less lift but it will rub offroad and not look right under the truck.

For what it is worth. I had an 86 CJ7 and ran 33x15x12.50's with half inch shackle and one inch body lift. I installed TJ flares and cut the inner fender a bit to make it more squared on the back corner. It would stuff those tires at full crank and never rubbed.

I know the front fenders on the YJ are a bit different but the tub should be the same. I wanted the tires to lift the axles but didn't need any height gained. It worked out great for my last Jeep.

Good luck making your decision. And don't fear the grinder!!! :D
